Richard Orlinski : A look back at the journey of today’s most trending artist

From Dubai to Aspen and even Pharrell Williams’ living room, Richard Orlinski's works are coveted around the globe, with some pieces selling for several million euros.

A passion for art from the very beginning :

From a young age, Richard Orlinski developed a strong interest in the arts. He grew up and studied in Paris, earning a degree from the National Institute of Management.

His early professional career was marked by experimentation. He explored several fields including event planning, real estate, interior design, and decoration, all environments influenced by art in one way or another.

Eventually, he returned to his first love: art, and more specifically, sculpture. He presented his first pieces to influential figures in the art world, who were immediately captivated by his work. However, he lacked legitimacy in the field, "he was a nobody in that world.".

Unwavering determination and global success :

Despite early skepticism, Orlinski placed his bets on talent and took the leap. He invested in high-end materials and meticulously refined every detail of his creations. His sculptures depict proud, powerful animals, with their wild nature intentionally amplified by the artist. Each piece is entirely unique.

His work is inspired by major pop and contemporary artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, and Niki de Saint Phalle.

He opened his first workshops and now employs over 150 craftsmen, including welders, marble sculptors, and carpenters. After a slow start, art galleries began to take notice. He exhibited in major galleries in Paris, then in Courchevel, Aspen, and Dubai. His iconic animal sculptures have even made their way into Twitter’s headquarters.

By exhibiting in venues popular with the jet set, he attracted high-profile collectors like Pharrell Williams and Sharon Stone.

Iconic pieces such as “WILD KONG” propelled him to global success. His work is instantly recognizable, even to those who aren’t particularly interested in art.

His audience has grown through a wide range of creative collaborations, with chocolatiers, pastry chefs, fine jewelers, and even theme parks. A true creative force, Orlinski never shies away from a challenge.

An artist who continues to expand his horizons :

New collaborations are on the horizon, and a film career is also unfolding for this internationally renowned artist. In 2017, he appeared in the movie Les Effarés and hopes to return to acting in future roles.

Richard Orlinski is also highly active on social media, often seen alongside public figures and celebrities, a sign that new and exciting projects may soon be underway.
